Cost of laying blocks in Nigeria 2024
Nigerian bricklayers charge for labor cost by counting number of Blocks laid, by work done per day or even by partition, as a building contractor, whether you are going for daily pay or by counting depends on so many factors surrounding the project you want to execute. The price for a work Gang (2 Mason and labourer) is ₦11,500 per day while that of paying by count is ₦70 per block currently.
Professionals always recommend the former rather than the later since by counting will always be abused and usually does not make for quality work. It becomes an option where quick project delivery is above all factors and where these blocks does not serve as load bearing members.

Pls is it costlier to buy blocks or mold by your self especially when you need good quantity of blocks
In that case, it is good you mould it yourself. By so doing, you can control what goes in and out.
